How we engrave your Roselli

Make your knife or axe truly yours with a custom engraving. We use precision laser engraving to create a lasting mark on the blade. Whether it’s a name, date, or a short phrase, your engraving makes each Roselli unique.  Simply add your engraving in the designated engraving box before checkout.

What should I engrave?

The hardest part of engraving is often deciding what to engrave! The most common requests are names, dates, or years – perfect for marking a special person or life event. If you’d like something more custom, such as a logo, please contact us at info@roselli.fi.

Product description

Roselli’s Fish Fork, sometimes referred to as a “fillet fork,” is a practical precision tool designed to support controlled and accurate fish preparation. It securely holds the fillet in place while you skin or fillet, allowing your knife to move smoothly between skin and flesh for clean, precise cuts.

By stabilizing the fillet on the cutting board, the Fish Fork improves control and helps reduce unnecessary movement, making filleting safer, more efficient, and more consistent—especially when working with slippery fish.

The fork is crafted from Roselli’s premium carbon steel for strength and durability. The handle is made from beautifully stained curly birch and treated with linseed oil to provide a natural, secure grip, even in wet conditions. Each Fish Fork comes with a handcrafted sheath made from dark, vegetable-tanned Finnish leather, designed to protect the tool and age beautifully over time.

The Fish Fork is the perfect complement to Roselli’s fillet knives. Pair it with the Small Fillet Knife for delicate precision work, or with the Big Fillet Knife when processing larger fish in the 2–3 kg range. Together, they form a well-balanced setup for efficient, controlled fish preparation.

FAQs

What is a Fish Fork used for?

A Fish Fork is used to stabilise the fillet while skinning or filleting fish, helping you keep the fish in place and work with greater control during precise cuts.

Do I need a Fish Fork if I already have a fillet knife?

A fillet knife can be used on its own, but a Fish Fork adds stability during key moments such as skin removal. Many users find it especially helpful when working with slippery fillets or aiming for cleaner, more consistent results.

When is a Fish Fork most useful during fish preparation?

The Fish Fork is particularly useful when separating skin from flesh or when you need to keep the fillet steady on the cutting board while guiding the knife.

Can the Fish Fork be used with both Small and Big Fillet Knives?

Yes. The Fish Fork is designed to work seamlessly with both Roselli’s Small Fillet Knife and Big Fillet Knife, depending on the size of the fish and the type of filleting work.

Is the Fish Fork suitable for use in wet conditions?

Yes. The handle is treated with linseed oil to provide a secure, natural grip, even in wet or slippery conditions.
