Roselli Hunting Knife Long, Full Tang is a longer-bladed version of Roselliâs original hunting knife design from 1976, refined through decades of practical use in Nordic conditions. In this version, the knife combines the added reach and versatility of the longer Hunting Knife with a full tang construction, where the blade steel runs through the entire handle. The result is a more stable, balanced and unified feel in hand, offering increased control and confidence during demanding outdoor work.
Built on Roselliâs straightforward and functional design philosophy, the knife remains intentionally clean and practical. The longer blade provides extended cutting length and a different working feel compared to the standard Hunting Knife, making it especially well suited for users who prefer a larger knife for general outdoor tasks, hunting and camp use. The full tang construction further enhances stability and force transfer, creating a robust and dependable tool without compromising precision.
Originally developed with Nordic hunting traditions in mind, the Hunting Knife Long, Full Tang performs equally well during game processing, food preparation at camp and everyday wilderness tasks. The added blade length allows for longer, smoother cuts and is particularly useful when trimming branches, preparing kindling or processing smaller firewood where controlled force and blade reach are an advantage.
The blade is made from Roselli Premium Carbon Steel and hardened to approximately 60 HRC, offering a strong and durable edge that is easy to resharpen in the field. The handle is crafted from dark stained curly birch and treated with linseed oil to provide a secure and comfortable grip in both dry and wet conditions. As with all Roselli knives, each piece is handmade in Finland using natural materials, giving every knife its own unique character.
The knife comes with Roselliâs newly designed sheath, handcrafted from vegetable-tanned Finnish leather. The updated design features an improved belt loop for secure and comfortable carry, together with a more refined construction and carefully finished edges. The result is a cleaner, more considered appearance while maintaining the durability and practical function expected from a Roselli sheath. Designed to protect the knife and withstand years of outdoor use, the leather will naturally soften and develop its own character over time.
